Amazing work and service as always by Cal, getting the trem arm back onto my Guild S-200Posted on Google Greg GrahamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The owner (apologies, I totally forgot to ask his name!) Was absolutely lovely when we popped in to buy some strings. Took time with us talking about musical exams and showing us pedals, letting my daughter try them out and just generally being a properly top dude. Clearly hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We'll definitely be back!Posted on Google Julie NelsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brought my son in today with his favourite guitar, that he hasn't been able to play for over a year. Not only was the guitar fixed for a very fair price, but my son was also shown what had went wrong and why, as well as a full explanation of how to avoid the problem recurring. Excellent service, and we will definitely return in the future.Posted on Google Paul MitchellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic studio areas, would highly recommend 👍Posted on Google derek murrayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My jazzmaster was in a pitiful state. I took it to Wall to Wall to see what could be done. Cal gave it a full reset and other adjustments. As he explained the work he had done, I was struck by his workmanship and his attention to detail. After being in Cal's care, my guitar plays beautifully and sounds brighter than it ever did before. Cal clearly takes great pride in his work and I would recommend him wholeheartedly for any work your guitar might need.Posted on Google David GrahamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Can’t recommend wall to wall enough! The service is above and beyond and it’s our go to place for everything music. My son enjoys weekly guitar lessons at wall to wall with fantastic instructors. We’ve purchased high quality guitars from the shop all set up and ready to go. We’ve had other guitars set up from Cal to a great standard. Cal has so much wisdom that he happily shares. He really knows his stuff! Amazing place for all things music!Posted on Google Chelse WalkerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Services & Prices
We’ve all been there – You save and save (and save) then spend £100’s on a brand new guitar you have lusted after for months or even years. You finally get it in your hands and it just feels…’off’. Or, your faithful 6-stringed friend suddenly starts to buzz, fight you or just not sound like it did.
Guitars are almost always not ready to play as well as they should straight out the box and certainly not if they are your old ones that have been tucked away in a cupboard for years.
Let’s change this.
Setups are just about the best thing you can do for your instrument outside of playing it regularly so get in touch and let me show you how I can make this more fun for you.
Restringing your guitar or bass can feel like a laborious task to a lot of players….but I love it.
Prices start from £20 plus cost of strings for a standard 6-string and includes giving your instrument and frets a spa-level clean and polish whilst I’m at it.
I can install pickups, create custom wiring and fit replacement parts to make your guitar an ever more excellent tool for expressing yo’self… Let me know what you fancy and what your budget is and we’ll make it happen.
From snapped headstocks to worn out nuts (ooyah) I can help. I’ll give you a fair idea of time and cost, and keep you updated throughout!
If you have a guitar or bass that you would like to have looked at, just book an appointment below.
We’ll accept the intrument in on your chosen day/time and let you know when the work is complete!

JOE MCGILLVERAY GUITAR TUITION
Whether you’ve always wanted to play guitar but don’t know where to start, or if you’ve played for a while and don’t know where to go next, there’s no better way to learn than face to face with a real teacher
For beginners we can go right to the start, how music works, how to hold guitar, understanding chords and scales, all the way through to how to improvise over any song and how real music is made in 2025
For the players we can assess where you are and see if there are holes in your theory or your technique that we can work on patching up.
I believe that the best way to learn is with the music that you love so I aim to tailor lessons to your tastes and work towards your own musical goals. I really do believe you’re never too young or too old to learn an instrument.
Cheers guys,
Joe x
